My 35th birthday has come and gone. It seems like 35 should have felt different, it's a milestone, right? Well, it breezed by like any other birthday without much effect.
Jim and Riley spent the evening with the Iserhott boys at the Supercross Race at Chase Ballfield. They had a fantastic time and Riley now wants to be a Supercross superstar...if we only had the land, money and the motorcycle... I suppose a boy can dream.
Since they were off and busy, I got to spend my birthday night with my good friend Angie. We went to a movie, saw 'P.S. I Love You', which was very good...kind of a tear jerker, but we enjoyed it! We then went for sushi and wine and had a nice evening just enjoying each others company. We don't get to that too often without the boys, we had a fantastic time.
Yesterday, we took a day trip to Flagstaff to play in the snow. My Dad and Gabe went with us. It was the first time my Dad had seen snow in about 25 years! We had a great time. It was about 37 degrees, so not as bitterly cold as our friends in the mid-west. The snow was pretty packed down, which made some of the bumps down the hill a little hard on the bottom, in fact I have a nice bruise developing on my hip! Enjoy the pics of our day.
Off to watch the big Green Bay / Giants game....Riley says "Go Green Bay",apparently they are his new favorite team.
