Riley enters the scoring column; Pele look out!

Riley scored his first goal ever in an official game today. It was a pretty little breakaway followed by a juke around the last defender capped off with a blast into the left corner of the net. The goalie had no chance. Riley seemed a little embarrassed by the whole thing. He's not real showy. Imagine Barry Sanders but with less celebration. I said "you just scored your first goal, isn't that awesome?". His response "it's okay". Being his father, in my opinion, it was more than "okay". The game ended in a 3-3 tie, no shootout for 5-7 year olds.
